There are sooooooooo many companies selling a variety of magnetic therapy bracelet. How do you know which one has magnetic technology and will work? I hear stories of people who have bought magnetic bracelets and then realized that it hasn't worked for them. Most likely this is because they have bought an inferior product with a very weak magnetic field.

A strong magnetic field is very important in achieving the desired effect needed from a magnetic therapy bracelet. Another research development that has been added to magnetic bracelets is negative ion technology.

Negative ion is known to promote relaxation and help you sleep peacefully. Have you ever notice how fresh the air feels after a nice rain storm, especially in the summer? That nice feeling you get is due to negative ions.

So how do you decide who to buy from?

First you need to really look at the technology. A weak magnetic field can not penetrate deep into the tissue to be effective. So to find a good magnetic therapy bracelet you need to find the gauss strength of the magnets in the bracelet.

A gauss strength of at least 800 gauss should provide sufficient magnetic strength to promote circulation within the body.

Another technology that you should look at is negative ion technology. Sometimes it is called Minus Ion technology, referring to the negative sign (-). High levels of negative ions can be found naturally near waterfalls, dense forests and as said before, right after a rain storm.

Magnetic companies have been able to harness this natural substance into the fibers of fabrics or through ceramic plates used as inserts in the bracelets.

Some bracelets have far infrared technology. Far infrared is considered the healing heat. It comes naturally from the sun and from our own bodies. When you get injured far infrared heat is another aid that helps the body heal faster than without it.

I hate to say this but purchasing a cheap magnetic therapy bracelet (any bracelet under $10) most likely is that, it is cheap and most likely has a weak magnetic fields. Albeit they are very beautiful the magnetic fields that they produce are usually not strong enough to do what is being promoted.

Why are some magnetic therapy bracelets priced higher?

Good question and I have a good answer. The more expensive bracelets, anywhere between $20-$50 sometimes more, usually involve more than just magnetic technology.

These bracelets have some type of strong magnets in them, negative ion fibers or plates, and/or far infrared technology. Some bracelets are also made of yellow or white gold or titanium steel and they are made to last a long time.
