Magnet therapy can be a natural solution to aid in healing equine leg injuries. Horses that are used in competition or even for pleasure riding can develop many leg injuries. Many of those injuries occur in the front legs due to the additional stress exerted on it.
Equine leg injuries may develop if the horse:
When horses are hurt you can see swelling in their legs or they usually favor one leg more than the other, compensating for the injured leg. This is dangerous as it places more pressure on the good leg eventually leading to further injury. If you see a horse with:
Then your horse may be experiencing an injury. Most injuries take 3-12 months to heal depending on the severity. However there is an all natural solution that you can do to spare your horse of prolong pain, swelling and misery.
Consider using magnetic therapy to treat equine leg injuries. As with humans, magnetic therapy decreases inflammation and help reduce pain. It also increases circulation to injured areas. Circulation is very important in the healing process. Cells need to travel efficiently to clean up the area and also bring in nutrient rich oxygen and other cells to begin the healing process of injured tendons and muscles.
To prove that magnetic therapy works on horses, far infrared cameras were taken of a horse with valgus leg deformity. This particular horse has a leg deformity and very poor blood circulation to his legs. Curtis Bennett of Thermografix Consulting Corporation and Veteranian Dr. Kim Hunter imaged fifteen horses and dogs with the latest far infrared technology at Lorna Morton's farm in Armstrong.
Curtis wanted "to view and document physiological changes after application of a specific magnet design called Bipolar Equilateral Triangular Board Design."
A biaxial rotational magnet was used on a foal with valgus deformity as shown in the picture. The foal had a history of being splinted for long periods at a time. As shown in the picture, everything below his knee was colder than the rest of his body. Having poor circulation in his legs made the foal uncomfortable.
The biaxial rotational magnet was held at close range (without touching) to the foal's legs for 20 minutes. Within 20 minutes his circulation improved dramatically. It is good to note that the heat did not come from the magnet itself but from the foal's body.

Curtis Bennett notes about equine leg injuries,
What is truly amazing is the effect that these magnets are having on the body. They are changing circulation locally and there is nothing that does that medically, naturally with zero side effects. It doesn't matter what kind of medical problem you have, the circulatory system feeds and cleanses teh body. I have seen life-changing results related to animal and human physiology with limbds being saved from amputation. If we can make these physical changes visible, then professionals can evaluate the effect of responsible magnetic design and other treatments accurately eliminating guess work.
Magnetic therapy for equine leg injuries are a natural and safe way to help aid in the healing process.
